The Gold Maple Leaf is the Royal Canadian Mint's 1 troy ounce gold bullion coin, struck in .9999 fine (24K) gold since 1979. It is Canadian legal tender with a face value of $50 and includes the Mint's security features, such as radial lines and a micro-engraved privacy mark.
